Serving All Houston Area Summer Camps and Preschools
Sizzlin Science Summer Camp 2009 by High Touch High Tech of Greater Houston has arrived. While our programs offer extreme hands-on science FUN, they also stimulate creativity through learning.
Our camps are being held at various sites around the greater Houston, Harris and Fort Bend County areas. Some sites will provide 10 weeks of exciting science fun for children. We are still adding sites to our lineup and if you are a Camp Director for a community center, Parks and Recreation Department or Day Care Center, providing day camp activities for preschool and school age children, we want to talk with you. Gas Blast
Take off on our high energy adventure into the world of gasses. Discover how gasses are made naturally and chemically. Make Elephant Toothpaste & Your own pretzel to take home and bake!
Rainforest Safari
It's all about the rainforest! Take an up clse look at the creatures in the rainforest. Discover how snakes smell with their tongues and make frog spawn!
Germs Make Me Sick
Learn about those nasty little germs that make us sick. Find out how germs can be passed around and how to keep germs off you. See germs with a special light and make your own petri dish to keep
Primarily Plants
Discover how cool plants really are. Learn about tiny plant embryos and get all the "Seedy" facts. Plant a vegetable and provide it's three life requirements...you may be able to make soup by summer's end!
Wacky Water Workshop
Discover how cool water really is. Learn about surface tension. Make water and alcohol have a tug or war with food coloring molecules! Stab a pencil through a plastic bag and not spill a drop!>br>
Mission To Mars
Discover the incredible planets in our solar system. Take an up close look at Mars. Make martian oozy-goozy and learn how to grow things on Mars. Launch a stomp rocket
Cool Coastal Science
Take an up close look at our Texas Beaches! Make waves, explore sand, investigate beach creatures, make your own shell imprints. Select real seashells and make your own coral reef.
Matter Makers
Learn all about matter: Solids, liquids and gases. Have a gas race with your friends! Discover the strengh of air and make your very own matter to eat!
Toy Shop Science
Join us as we learn the science behind some of our favorite toys. How do tops keep spinning? What's a buzzing magnet? Learn about forces that make things move, and take home your own spinner
